You guys are the best! I thought I had read up on Disney World, but I had never heard of dummy MagicBands until I was pointed in your direction by the comments on Tom Bricker's Touring Plans post about Magic Kingdom Party Fast Passes. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI have a quick question for you if you wouldn't mind. I don't know anyone with APs or an upcoming trip, and I don't plan on returning to Walt Disney World myself in the foreseeable future. In that context, is there any advantage to adding phantom kids to my resort reservation (which is currently for two adults)?
Sure, you can add kids as phantoms and add them to your room to get as set of dummy bands for the two of you who are going. Then, you can make same day fastpasses with those dummy bands.
ReplyDeleteI am WAY late to this dummy band idea. Your reply above is very clear. BUT - follow-up question: Don't you have to have park tickets for the "dummy kids" in order to book fast passes for them?
ReplyDeleteNot if you are trying to make same day fastpasses at a kiosk. Yes if you are trying to book fastpasses ahead of time. Listen to episode 9 if you are unclear.
ReplyDeleteAwesome - thanks!
